If you love watching movies, shows, listening to trending music today, and more, you should subscribe to some of the popular applications and services online. For instance, subscribing to Netflix, HBO Go, and Amazon Prime for entertaining tv series, documentaries, movies, and more. Or, subscribe to Spotify to listen to non-stop music all day and gaming applications for you or your kids.

However, it is very easy to forget the subscriptions you have made to services and applications, especially if they are too many. Other than that, it’s a little expensive. So, how can you cancel your subscriptions to these services and applications?

You might think that deleting it will end your problem, but it’s not. Your account will still be there and you’re still subscribed to it. If you don’t know how to unsubscribe or cancel your subscriptions, follow the guide we’ve made below:

The Short Way To Cancel Subscriptions

If you are already using an iOS 12 or have the latest iOS updates on your iPhone, here’s the step by step guide to manage and cancel your subscriptions.

 1. On your iPhone, open the App Store. This application’s icon is a blue box with an “A” in the middle.

 2. Go to the bottom of your iPhone screen and tap the “Today” button.

 3. Go to your account profile, which is located at the upper right corner of the App Store. You have to make an account first to proceed, so if you don’t have any profile yet, you should make one. Other than that, make sure that the profile you’re using to cancel subscriptions is the right profile, especially if you have a couple of Apple IDs.

 4. Scroll down and look for the Manage Subscriptions option. Tap it. All your subscriptions will appear once you tap the Manage Subscriptions option, either it’s already expired or still active.

 5. Under the Active list, find the subscription that you want to cancel and tap it.

 6. A pop-up notification will appear on your screen, confirming if you really want to continue canceling your subscription. Tap confirm to cancel your subscription.

Re-subscribing To Your Canceled Subscription

If you want to continue the applications and service subscriptions you have canceled in the past, you can re-subscribe it just like how you cancel subscriptions. However, it will depend on what version of iOS your phone has. This short method is only applicable to iPhones running iOS 12 or later. Here’s how:

 2. Go to the bottom of your iPhone screen and tap the “Today” button.

 3. Go to your account profile, which is located at the upper right corner of the App Store. You have to make an account first to proceed, so if you don’t have any profile yet, you should make one. Other than that, make sure that the profile you’re using to activate subscriptions is the right profile, especially if you have a couple of Apple IDs.

 4. Scroll down and look for the Manage Subscriptions option. Tap it. All your subscriptions will appear once you tap the Manage Subscriptions option, either it’s already expired or still active.
